Web26 feb 2014 · What a great site. My question is: My 08 King Quad keeps stalling on me. When it stalls I can wait a few minutes and it will start up and ride for a 1/4 mile then stalls again. Wait a few minuets and it will run a 1/4 mile then stall. I took off the air cleaner and it didn't make any difference. if I let it sit for a few hours it will run great. There is a black electronic device under the seat that from what I'm told drains the battery over a short period of time. There is a newer upgrade you can get that "fixes" the battery drain problem. I have seen lots of problem with suzuki wiring, they don't leave enough slack in the wire harnesses. I would get a service manual and go through the fuel injection troubleshooting. To see if the Ecm is getting too much or not enough voltage.
